October 3

Today was a sweat pants and slippers day and I loved every minute of it!  Had to ditch the sweat pants for my choral dress for my concert.  Concert was absolutely amazing, I think that's the best the Women's Chorus has sounded since we started!  So that was very exciting, keep in mind I have performed vocally for almost 5 years so this was a big deal!

I also recently discovered Starbucks Salted Carmel Hot Chocolate, and I'm officially addicted!  That may be the amount of sugar that I need to make myself finish all my work and everything other thing I need to squish into my days.  Their banana pound cake is pretty good too.

Wrote most of my four page paper for American History class, still need another half page but we're having a discussion day tomorrow so hopefully we will talk about something of the things I didn't already stick in my paper and I can add it and not have to think too much more about it!

We're presenting projects tomorrow in my tech. class.  I absolutely HATE presenting power points in front of the class.  Give me a room full of strangers and I'll blow your mind...  but my peers?  That kind of makes me nervous especially since we are all presenting about the same thing.  Oh well, three days of class that we won't do anything!

Hopefully my books come in from the library tomorrow because I may go crazy from sheer boredom if I don't get a book to read soon!  Have seven on their way though so that will keep me busy for a while.

Can't really believe how fast this semester is flying by!  We're almost halfway through and it still feels like we are just starting!  I have an appointment tomorrow to find out what classes I need to take in the spring.  It feels really weird to actually be in college now.  My whole life I've kind of imagined how awesome college must be, and how cool it must be to be that "old", but now I'm here and it's like a huge wake up call.  One of those "welcome to the rest of your life" moments.  It's really exciting, but really kind of nerve wracking too!  I mean I still stop and think that 21 is so much older then I am now then I realize that milestone is two and half years away!  I mean in the grand scheme of things it's not that far away!
