Well started today like I do every other Saturday: laundry. Only this week I discovered something, when I have to wear warm clothes because it is cold, I have to do two loads of laundry. Ordinarily, this wouldn't be such a big deal. However since it costs one dollar per load to wash and a dollar per load to dry, it kind of gets expensive. Welcome to college. I may end up putting a clothesline up in my room so that I can air dry my clothes and therefore not pay for it!
After my favorite Saturday chore, I had to go meet some of my soon-to-be mentees. We marched in the Homecoming parade for my college. They threw candy, beads, flags, you name it! It was a blast! Admittedly, three miles fast walk/run parade is a little tiring! Almost two hours walking and running (of course we probably waited 45 minutes to get lined up before we actually moved somewhere).
Had to take a much needed nap before our Homecoming game. We ended up losing 15 to 20, but we were pretty close so it's not a bumming as it could've been. Hopefully, we will still make a come back this season! It was absolutely freezing, started snowing off and on throughout the game. Oh well, it is October!
