November 11

So this week has been kind of crazy.  Tuesday was my birthday, so that was fun.  About got thrown out of my astronomy test because people kept texting me to say "happy birthday" and I forgot to shut off my phone.  So it vibrated the whole way through the test.  Luckily there's over 100 students in the class so they didn't know it was me.  Been celebrating all week, which ironically is the main reason why I haven't been updating the blog.  Like today, I'm having a party at 2 with all the little kid fixings and before that I'm going to get my cartilage pierced (something I've been forbidden to do by my mother, but hey, what is college for if not to defy your parents?).  My mom pretty much find out when I forget to leave my hair down and tuck it behind my ear or something.  She'll forgive me eventually... or maybe she won't.  Well whatever happens, I'll deal with it then.

So pretty sure I've made at least one of my professors think I'm psychotic.  I seem to be very good at making people think I'm kind of a nut when I try to explain how I think.  Maybe that should be my goal in life instead of teaching?  I mean I'm really good at it!  Oh well, some people will just never understand!

Still waiting from results from the doctor to figure out what the issue with my blood-pressure is.  Can't get those until next Friday and the waiting is nerve-wracking.  I mean I'm not a patient person anyway, and the doctor kind of made me feel like I was probably dying.  So now I'm picturing all kinds of horrible explanations thanks to my paranoia.   I'm sure it will be fine... at least that's what I tell myself.  Supposedly if you tell yourself something (even if you don't believe it) enough you will eventually believe it.

So I watched "To Save A Life" last night.  Let's just say it was a very powerful movie and I would highly recommend it!  I won't say anymore or else I will spoil the whole movie!

I have a choir concert this Saturday.  We are singing five songs... only one is in English... nobody can speak any of the other languages let alone sing them!  Hopefully we pull through and don't make a mess of it!  The music is beautiful (even if it is in Latin, Italian, and French), even if we don't understand what it means!

So I may give up on the daily updates and shoot for weekly updates.  Then if I master that do bi-weekly posts, then tri-weekly, etc until eventually I do get up to seven days.  I will get there eventually!
